Audrey Ou

In the midst of postpartum depression after the birth of her first child, Audrey turned to yoga and found strength and healing in her practice. She completed her 200-hour certification at Mind Body Zone and now strives to help students practice mindfully and safely. Audrey enjoys exploring the foundations of postures and alignment alongside new students, introducing yoga as a tool to accompany pregnant women through each trimester, and challenging more experienced students with energizing flow sequences. She believes in both the grounding and invigorating effects of yoga and tries to strike a balance between these ideas in each other classes. Whether she is teaching a prenatal sequence, Hatha flow, or vinyasa flow/power yoga class, Audrey emphasizes safe alignment, incorporating the breath into each posture, and keeping a sense of humor throughout the practice. In addition to teaching yoga, she is also a psychotherapist and mother of two. She hopes to pass on her love of yoga and the far-reaching impacts of the practice to her clients, students, and children.
